When the national and international critique judged the Ballet Folklorico as a fact that could not be denied; on the contrary, that it came to satisfy a necessity, judged, in a certain way, some aspects of México.

After watching the Ballet, abroad the critique expressed: " the eternal and passionate face of México". " México visited through the magic glass of art". "The soul of México vibrates in it’s greatest ballet". " One would like to stay in the theatre and keep on watching the Mexicans until dawn". Beautiful phrases that the Ballet was collecting through the world as fruit of the Mexican land! Fruit of a laborious farming, not of an improvised and spontaneous apparition.

It was not just a dance show at the Carnegie Hall, it was a great party.
